Q: What is the average cost of care in Otsego County?
A: It depends on the age of the child, the schedule (full or part-time), the type of setting (family or group family day care or a day care center), and the geographic location. For more information call the office.
Q: What types of services can you offer me/my business?
A: Presentations, brochures and payroll stuffers, on-site referrals. We are flexible and willing to work with new ideas, call our office for more information or to discuss your ideas.
Q: Can I open a day care center in my place of business?
A: Yes. There are many things to consider before opening a day care center and there is a mandatory orientation to attend. We are willing to meet with you and discuss this project, call our office.
Q: Can I get referrals for my employees?
A: No, but you can have us on-site to do one-on-one referrals with them and you can direct them to this website where they can receive a referral by filling out the information requested.
Q: Are there programs available to help employees pay for day care?
A: Yes. There is a day care subsidy program through the local department of social services to assist with the cost of child care. Other options for employers to offer are a stipend toward the cost and pre-tax flexible spending accounts for dependant care.

Q: I am interested in my business becoming a sponsor of the Child Care Connection. How can I do this and what would I be able to sponsor?
A: There are many different ways sponsorship money can be used, as we are a non-profit organization that is always in need of sponsorship, you may specify what you would like your donation used for or let that decision be up to our agency and where it is most needed.
